Short writeup:
The 2019 PeiCai Secondary School A Math paper is a fairly typical exam with commonly seen questions. Most students should be able to tackle this paper with minimal resistance. However, scoring well on this paper doesn't necessarily mean you're at an A1 standard for the O levels. There's more work to be done if you're aiming for top marks, but this is definitely a solid paper to start your revision with.
Despite its straightforward nature, this paper serves as a good benchmark for your preparation. It offers a reliable way to practice under exam conditions and identify areas where you might need improvement. Personally, I would use this paper as preparation for WA2 (Differentiation) Aiming for a score above 75% on this paper can give you a good indication of your current standing and help you build the confidence needed for more challenging exams.
If you want to ensure you're fully prepared and understand how to achieve that A1 standard, I offer a one-time consultation class to go through this exam paper in detail after I've marked it. We'll identify your strengths and areas for improvement, and I'll provide targeted guidance to help you excel. Click here to book a session!
