Short writeup:

The 2020 CHIJ Secondary School A Math paper is designed for average A Math students aiming to achieve an A1. Several questions in this paper stand out and require thoughtful consideration before execution, providing a good challenge without being overwhelming.

However, one potential weakness is the lack of application-based questions. For instance, R-formula questions typically include a context, like an engineering problem, but here, the R-formula question is straightforward and lacks real-world context.

Overall, this is a solid paper that I highly recommend for timed practice, especially for average students. Proficient and confident students might consider using this paper as a final review days before the actual O levels.
