Catholic High School 2024 Pure Chemistry Weighted Assessment 2

This is the short summary of the Prelim Paper Review I've done for

My 3 matrices:

Relevance: 6/10

Insightfulness: 7/10

Difficulty: 6.5/10

Overall: 6/10

Expectation: 75%

Key questions to consider:

Section A:

Question 6 - Mole Concept

Question 9 - Acid, Base and Salt

Question 10 - Acid, Base and Salt

Section B:

Question 2 - Data based, Acid-Base and Salt, Chemical Calculations

Short writeup:

This fan-submitted review covers the Weighted Assessment 2 from Catholic High School's O-level program. As expected for a topical test, the questions primarily focus on two chapters: Chemical Calculations and Acid-Base and Salt.

Unlike prelim papers, which typically test key elements and incorporate questions from various topics, this assessment sticks strictly to the chapters mentioned due to its nature as a Weighted Assessment.

The questions are moderately challenging, effectively preparing Secondary 3 students for their O-level exams. The difficulty level and skills required align with O-level standards, albeit in a less intense format.

Overall, this is an excellent paper for Secondary 3 students to prepare for their Weighted Assessment and a great resource for Secondary 4 students to revise the Mole Concept and Acid-Base and Salt on a topical level.
