FAILING IN JC?
Come Fix It With Me. Or Don’t — And Stay Average.
You're here because school didn’t help, and you know it. I’m not your average tutor, and this isn’t your average holiday class.
With our students averaged a B within first semester of JC1 for both H2 Math and Chemistry, you know you are in a good and safe pair of hands. And now, it's your turn.
Here's what you can expect from our June holiday classes:
-
Deep dives and analysis of question types
-
Short and terse but effective materials (We cut the crap out)
-
Strong storytelling to explain and illustrate complex concepts clearly.
It's already June and promos are only a few months away...
Did I miss the bus?!
Indeed, the JC1 promotional exam is one of the most daunting milestone in your A level journey. You heard many stories of seniors retaining and some of them are your classmates. You can't help but feel the anxiety especially given how you have underperformed during the recent Weighted Assessments (WA).
You thought about joining tuition but you're afraid the rest of the class have already moved ahead. After all, most of us already scored our A in the recent WA1. You're afraid you missed the bus. And you told yourself
"I will figure this out eventually"
So you waited and waited.
Suddenly it's June.
Yet here you are, struggling with tutorials or even keeping up with your lecturer. You know you need help and you wish you hopped onto the bus earlier...
You sure you haven't seen me on TikTok?

Wait! Who are you again?
This is Yao Le from Vantage Tutor — A Class Above The Rest.
I’m the tutor behind the viral Prelim Paper Review series on TikTok. Students call me the Funniest Tutor Alive — not because I clown around, but because I teach in a way that makes things click.
I didn’t come from a top school. No elite tuition. Just a neighbourhood kid who had to figure things out the hard way — and now I help others do it faster, smarter.
In 2017, I graduated from NUS as a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) with a minor degree in Environmental Chemistry in collaboration with University of Toronto (UofT). Since 2017, I’ve taught in tuition centres and everyone from RI top scorers to G1 late bloomers. My lessons build on what you already know from Secondary School — with stories, logic, and memory hooks that stick.
I run a small-group centre at 1102A Serangoon Road, capped at 6 per class. I don’t do fluff. I do results.
I’m not for everyone. But if you’re done wasting time…

Who This Is For
This programme is specially designed for JC1 students who are looking be well prepared for exams and to develop holistically
If you are a JC1 who sits through class, nods along, and still lost.
If you studied, revise and even gone on consults and yet your marks are not improving.
If you didn't panic before and now you are. Welcome.
We are not in the business of "last-minute" revision. We believe in consistency and guiding you step-by-step till you finish your A levels. We will catch you up to speed with the rest of my students so you can integrate into our classes seamlessly.
If that's not you, you're not ready. And that's fine too.
